How to solve the problem of water leakage in steel structure workshop?

The main reasons for water leakage are self-tapping screws, lap joints of color steel plates, roof tiles, rivets, artificial deformation of color steel plates on the roof, and the rainproof glue of decorative parts such as lighting windows falls off.

1. Roof Air Floor Location

Causes of water leakage: There is no foam plug under the edge of the joint between the building and the roof, and no cement or silicone is placed in the vertical overlap of the edge. The outer roof of the steel structure building is not plated at the building junction. The opening of the structural column is not waterproof, and there is a hidden danger of water leakage in the production and installation of the tower itself.

Solution: Place foam plugs before installing the edge and use cement or suture to secure the longitudinal lap of the plug. Before installing the gas tower, the roof must be installed first; after the gas tower structure is completed, the gas tower construction party must carry out waterproof treatment, and check the installation quality and waterproof performance of the gas tower building.

Causes of water leakage: Improper handling of the connection between the canopy and the auxiliary workshop. According to the design requirements, there are no plugs between the awning and the outer wall, nor do they protrude into the outer wall panels.

Solution: The connection between the awning and the auxiliary housing must be overlapping and waterproof. Under normal circumstances, the underwater edge of the canopy should enter the siding. In order to facilitate the installation and construction of the steel structure, rainwater should be prevented. The edge can also be directly against the outer wall of the wall, but a stopper must be placed and the gap must be sealed with silicone.

3. Connection between brick wall and light steel roof

This part is easy to form a hidden danger of water leakage, and the connection between the steel structure roof panel and the cement wall will also leak.

Causes of water leakage: The stress is not synchronized, which will cause cracking and leakage of the silicone adhesive and the bonding surface.

Solution: In order to prevent temperature deformation, please use two kinds of edge connection processing. When connecting to a brick wall, the closed edge should be angled and should be completely sealed. When sealing the edge, the sealant should be applied in advance.
