Three factors affecting the cost of steel building workshop
Steel structure workshops are destined to have a strong construction market share due to their beautiful appearance, short construction period, high degree of industrialization, and resource reuse. The cost of steel building workshop is also a concern of many people. It is the key research object of many steel structure enterprises to control the cost of steel building workshops and give full play to the technical advantages of steel structure workshops. Among them, there are three main factors for the cost of the steel structure factory building:
1. Raw material factors
Steel and plates are the main frame of the steel building workshop, accounting for about 70%-80% of the total cost of the steel structure workshop building. The fluctuation of the market price of steel structure raw materials directly affects the cost of the steel workshop building. There is a big difference between the material of the section steel and the loading surface, the thickness of the enclosure plate and the price of the material. The raw material of steel structure is the main factor of the cost of the steel workshop.
2. Design factors
Reasonable design is the fundamental problem of saving raw materials and controlling the cost of steel construction workshops. The different design schemes of the steel structure factory building are an important reason for the change in the quantity of raw materials, which directly affects the total cost of the steel structure workshop building.
①Basic design: The basic cost is closely related to the geology of the location of the plant. The construction period of the foundation accounts for about 25% of the total construction period of the factory, and the basic cost is 15% of the total cost of the steel structure plant. In the design, attention should be paid to the geological report of the location of the factory building, selecting a reasonable foundation type, and controlling the loading surface and buried depth of the foundation have played a positive role in the total cost of the steel structure factory building.
②Steel beam design: Rectangular section beams are the most common bending members and are often used in design, but the material utilization rate is very low. One is that the stress of the material near the neutral axis is lower; the other is that the bending moment of the beam varies along the beam length. Due to the low stress in most sections of the beam with equal section, the material cannot be used well, and the material utilization rate can be improved only when the axial center is stressed. Therefore, a plane truss can be used instead of a rectangular beam in the design. The plane truss is equivalent to a hollowed beam, and the excess material in the beam is removed, which is economical and can reduce its own weight. It can also be developed into a space grid, and the utilization rate of materials can be greatly improved.
③ Column grid design: The column grid layout is to determine the span and spacing of the columns. When the process requirements allow, it is more economical to choose a small-span portal frame as much as possible. Under normal circumstances, the optimal spacing of the portal frame is 6m-9m. When a large-tonnage crane is installed, the economic column spacing is generally 7m-9m, and should not exceed 9m. When it exceeds 9m, the steel consumption of roof purlins, crane beams and wall frame systems will also increase accordingly, and the cost is not economical. Therefore, whether the column grid layout is reasonable has a great impact on the cost of the steel building workshop.
3. Construction and installation factors
The length of the construction period is also a part of the cost of the steel workshop, and the proficiency of the installation technology is the main reason for the length of the construction period. The construction of a structural workshop is a systematic project, involving a wide range of factors and many influencing factors. The construction period, policy changes, and large engineering volume can all affect the cost of the steel building workshop.
